Terms of Use

Cronos provides historical options research, portfolio replay, and related simulation tools. It is a research product operated by Cronos Research.

Cronos is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, exchange, or custodian. Nothing in the product is an offer to buy or sell securities or a recommendation to trade.

Some features require sign-in. Cronos uses Google sign-in to establish your session and associate entitlements with your account.

You are responsible for activity under your signed-in account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.

We may suspend or limit access when needed to protect the service, enforce plan limits, or investigate abuse.

Paid plans, trials, and previews are described on the Pricing page and completed through Stripe checkout or the Stripe customer portal when configured.

Plan names, prices, quotas, and included workflows may change. The checkout and portal flows show the commercial terms that apply to a purchase at the time you complete it.

Taxes, refunds, failed payments, and invoice history are handled according to the billing provider flow and any notice we provide in product.

Builder, Portfolio, Strategy Lab, and related surfaces use archived market snapshots and user-entered fills to simulate outcomes.

Historical quotes, greeks, marks, assignment assumptions, and performance figures are research estimates for education and analysis. They are not live executions and may differ from broker fills, corporate actions, or future markets.

Past simulated performance does not predict future results.

Workspace data may live in your browser, on Cronos servers, or both, depending on the feature and whether you are signed in.

You are responsible for exporting or backing up any local-only work you need to keep. Clearing site data on a device can permanently remove local state on that device.

Use Cronos only for lawful research and personal or internal analysis consistent with these terms and your plan.

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass authentication or quotas, scrape in a way that harms availability, or misuse another person's account.

The service is provided as available. Data coverage, latency, uptime, and feature availability can vary. We do not warrant uninterrupted access or error-free historical reconstructions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cronos Research is not liable for trading losses, reliance on simulations, or indirect damages arising from use of the product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms for subsequent use.
